About:China Train

Pudong Airport to Hangzhou time needed

My ETA at Pudong Airport is 4.30am on 7 Mar. I planned to take Maglev+Metro to Hongqiao Railway Station and get bullet train to Hangzhou. But I have no idea how much time I need to plan for queuing for ticket and boarding. Please advise.

As I know the Maglev start at 7am and subway line 2 at 6am. So if you take subway line 2 to Hongqiao station, you may reach there before 8am. You may need another 1 or 1.5 hours for the ticket collection and boarding, depends on how crowded the station can be.
