Do I need visa if I am flying from Australia to Malaysia first then to Shanghai for 6 days

I am travelling from Sydney to Malaysia for 5 days and from Malaysia will visit SH for 6 days 5 nights and back to Malaysia for 1 night before flying back to Sydney . Do I qualify for the 144 hours transit in china

If you will travel like Malaysia-SH-Malaysia-Sydney, you cannot use the 144 hour free transit because it is not a transit.
