About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Layover in Shanghai: I'm a Cambodian passport holder.

Hi,
I'm flying to Hawaii and I have 12 hours layover in Shanghai. Am I eligible for 24 hour TWOV?

Thanks, but when I checked with travel agents in China they said no. How can I be sure so that I can book the tour with confident?

Your travel agent is correct. Leaving the airport is no longer possible if your layover is less than 24 hours regardless of nationality. This has been enforced since early February 2018 and many people were caught off guard because there haven't been any official announcements whatsoever.
