144 hour transit Visa. We fly into Beijing for a hotel stay of 3 nights.

Then leave on a booked cruise ship transfer to Tianjin to board a ship. We will not be returning to China.
As United Kingdom, British passport holders do we qualify for the 144 hour transit free visa?
The 72 hour visa is no good to us as we do not exit Beijing via the airport but can we do it using the 144 visa policy.
