About:China Transit Visa

Do I need a transit visa for a layover in Shanghai (PVG) from Friday, 5:20pm- Sat., 6:55pm?

I am a green card holder, travelling from the US to the Philippines with a layover in Shanghai. There have been changes in our itinerary and our ETA in Shanghai is now Friday, 5:20pm and our ETD to Manila is Sat., 6:55pm. I have 2 US Citizens who are senior citizens as well. Do we need to apply for transit g?
I appreciate your help.

Hi, if you are a Philippines passport holder, you don't need to apply for the transit G type for the trip because all of you can enjoy the 24 hr direct transit in Shanghai.
