About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

Student studying in China

I am a student studying in China. My visa expired On the 31st of January I did not have money for registration. I’m registeting tomorrow immediately when I receive the funds. What should I do? I am scared and confused. Will I be kicked out the country of worse arrested?

If you report the situation to the police station as soon as possible, you may not be put into a jail or get repatriated. Don't worry.
