About:China Visa Application in UK

Do we need to specify an itinerary for our entire trip?

We are going to China for two weeks, travelling independently. We have a hotel reservation for three days when we first arrive and for the last days before we leave, but we have not booked accommodation in between, because we want to travel around, and aren't clear of our itinerary yet. The visa application requires us to specify our entire itinerary. What should we do? It also requires us to state the name of our inviter to China. What should we put? Thanks.

You can just make a brief introduction of your trip such as where you will visit and how long you will stay in each spot, as well as the rough accommodation arrangement.
If you don’t have an inviter, there is no need to fill that part out.

Thanks - that’s a relief!

Actually I can now verify this is incorrect – you need to have copies of booking confirmations for each place you're staying. Each traveller needs their own copy.
