About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Do I need train reservation for application?

Can I exit the country (first time) from Shenzhen to Hong Kong by train/metro? And after that enter again going the other way?

I will be applying for a double entry visa.

In principle, you need to provide transportation arrangement to prove that you will leave China.
