About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have round trip from SFO-PEK (March 22- March 31) and PEK-HKG (March 28 - March 30)

My flight leaves from SFO to PEK with layover for 12 hrs in TAO. I plan to go out to Qingdao for 12 hours on March 23 and to stay in Beijing for 4 days (March 24 - March 28) and then stay in Hong Kong for 3 days then fly back from HKG to PEK with 5 hours in PEK to check-in back to SFO. Do I need visa in China or free transit is okay?

You need a visa because you have two stops.

Even if I dont go out in Qingdao? Do I still need visa?

You are required to go through immigration and customs in Qingdao.
