About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

SFO-PEK-HND-SFO Be okay for 2 days?

I start and end in the US, but use HND (Japan) to meet the requirement for transit to a 3rd country. Does this qualify for the 72-hour free transit?

Yes, as long as your SFO-PEK flight does not have a stop in Japan.
