ReplyAltough the Chinese puppetry is not that famous today, there are still several cities that use the puppetry during festivals. Performers use plastics, computer controlled lightning and machinery, and modern paint and dyes to produce bright and colorful shadow figures.
In Beijing, China Puppet Theater and Shichahai Shadow Art Performance Hotel are two recommended places to see the Shadow Puppetry.
