About:Chinese Clay Figurine Museum

Hi, we are flying first from Germany to Shanghai, have a 6 hours stay at the Shanghai airport

and continue our trip to Phuket/Thailand. After one week we will return from Thailand, stay with our friends in Shanghai for 4 1/2 days and will then return to Germany. Can we use first the 24 hours exemption and for the second stay the 144 hours exemption?

Norman, yes, you can enjoy the free transit in Shanghai in both directions.
