About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

German applying in a third coutry

Hi I am German studying in Beijing now. My X2 type is about to expire and I still want to travel in China. Can I just go to HongKong and apply for a L type there then come back to Mainland? Or can I only go back to Germany and apply for the L visa in Germany? Thx a lot

You can try to make the application in HK.
