Food & medication taken into China

What medication that is over the counter not allowed like cold n flu and hayfever tablets paracetamol etc. Also is oats, dried potatoes allowed in?

You should declare them when pass the custom. For necessary, you'd better bring with the medical certificate and prescription from your doctor. Dried potatoes are allowed to bring in. Don't worry.
