About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

None prescibed medication

1. Can I take Gaviscon Tablets into China? (Gaviscon Double Action Tablets | Gaviscon  They are not a precribed medicine. They are available in supermarkets and pharmacies in the UK. They are for stomach indigestion. I am taking Omerprazole for poor indigestion and this is prescribed to me. But my question is can I take the unprescribed Gaviscon tablets with me on holiday too?

2. Can I take Piritese tablets into China. These are for Hayfever, insect bites and allergies. These are not prescribed for me but are available in UK supermarkets. Piriteze Allergy Relief Syrup and Tablets

I know you have strict rules. And I tried looking on your Jingdong pharmacy site but it wanted me to load an app which would not load on my iphone 15. Sorry to ask you these questions but I cannot find answers to the above questions and do not want border police action.

Thank you for your help.

Adrian

Adrian, they can generally enter, but you need to offer a medical diagnosis certificate to prove the necessity of bringing them, and you should better carry an amount for no more than 7-day use.
