Taking medication to China

Hi,
I am going to China soon for a tour and i need to take with me medication that is prescription and many that are natural. My health depends on it as I have many allergies. Also, because of these allergies my diet is very limited, and I would need to take some shop bought 100% natural no additives food options. What do I need to do to be able to take these with me? Is a doctor prescription necessary and even for vitamins and supplements, and does it need to be detailed per each item? I need these to maintain my health but do not want to have any problems and break any rules. What do I need to do, please?

Psychotropic and anesthetic drugs are prohibited, but anti-allergic drugs with a dosage not exceeding 3 months can generally enter. I suggest that you bring all the prescriptions and drug instructions, and declare them to the customs.
