About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hong Kong-Beijing-Guangzhou-Sydney (144 hour transit free transit possible?)

Hi,
I am flying from Honk Kong to Sydney. I wanted to get the 144 hour free transit in Beijing. But my flight from Beijing to Sydney is via Guangzhou. Does that Guangzho transfer inhibit my chance to use/get the Beijing transit visa?

Thank you,
Sebastian

You can't get 144 hours visa-free transit if you have two stops in China.
