About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am a Canadian and will be flying from Canada to Manila and then to Guangzhou.

I will be staying only 2 days in China and then flying back to Manila. Can I do this with a transit visa? Also I would like to fly from Guangzhou to Zhanjiang which is in the same province. Is this possible with a free transit?

You don't need a visa and free transit will suffice. It's also possible to go to Zhanjiang providing that you are entering and leaving China from Guangzhou airport.

Manila - Gungzhou - Manila is not a transit and you need a visa in advance.
