About:Shanghai 15-day Visa-free Policy for Cruise Tour Groups

My husband and I are arriving on Millennium cruise ship in November 2018

We arrive 06.00 and ship departs 22.00. We will purchase a group tour/excursion from the cruise ship before leaving U.K. Do we need full China visa purchased in UK or are we eligible for 15 day waiver visa?
