About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Traveling to Bangkok from USA.

Hi, I am planning on traveling to Thailand to spend 10 days this summer. I would like to add 2 days in Shanghai on the front end of my trip. So, MSP-->Shanghai-->Bangkok-->MSP
Is there any way to receive assurance, before departing, of receiving the 72 hour free transit? Or is it somewhat of a risk?

No need to worry. You will be able to use the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai if you travel MSP-->Shanghai-->Bangkok-->MSP.
