About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I eligible for the 72 hour and / or the 144 hour China exemption?

I am Canadian and would like to fly from Melbourne to Hong Kong on March 23, Hong Kong to Shanghai on March 27th and Shanghai to Toronto on March 31st. Do I qualify for the 72 hour and or the 144 hour China visa exemption?

You're good to go. Shanghai only has 24 and 144 hours, by the way, not 72.
