Apply for a student visa in bangkok

Hallo
Can i apply for a student X type in Bangkok? I recently visited my friend in china who ownes a residence permit. Once i traveld to visit her on a tourist L type i decided to apply at a chinese school. They suggested i apply in thailand which they have 100% passing rate. So any advice please?
