I'm a US Citizen, and I'm looking to purchase a vacation package that includes China and Thailand.According to the vacation package I would be staying in Beijing for 3 days and nights leaving China on the 4th day to go to Thailand. While in China I'll be participating in tours included in the vacation package.

If you travel like USA-Beijing (3 nights)-Thailand, you can use the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. No tourist L type will be needed then.
