About:China Transit Visa

Do I need a transit visa before departing portugal

I'm Australian traveling to Sydney stopping in Beijing for 8hrs pick up bags and check in then flying to hangzhou and staying for 5hrs then fly to sydney

Richard, if so, you don’t need a transit G type because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit.
