About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72h or 144h in Beijing

Hi, does the following apply? Going from France to Beijing, staying there 60h, returning to the Netherlands (staying there for 5 hours) and then return back to France all by plane. Are 5h in the Netherlands enough? If so, does the 72h rule or the 144h rule apply, what should I ask for? Thanks!!

That itinerary is fine as long as your flight from France to Beijing is nonstop. All passengers will now be granted 144-hour visa free transit on arrival if their layovers are over 24 hours. As a result the 72-hour option is no longer available.
