About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

i am booking a flight ticket to the US through China Southern Airlines

which has a stopover at Gangzhou for about 18 hours. I would like to use the time to look around the city. Do i need a transit visa. If yes, how do i go about it.

You need a transit visa if leaving the airport. Contact the local CVASC for details.
