About:Requirements for Permanent Residence Permit

I am apply for a permanent resident permit (green card) here in China.

I am having difficulty getting a straight answer. I have been told different things in regards to the report of criminal background. Must I have fingerprints taken? There are 3 options available: A. FBI background check, with fingerprints. B. State level background check, with fingerprints. C. State level, without fingerprints. Which one(s) will be acceptable?
