About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Arriving with one airline, leaving with another?

I am planning on arriving from the Philippines, likely with Philippine Airlines or another carrier that flies to Shanghai. I am then planning on leaving with Finnair within 144 hours. Is this set up possible? Would Philippine Airlines let me board assuming I show them the confirmed onwards journey with Finnair?

Also, are there any restrictions as to how many times a 144 hours visa free transit may be performed?

1) Different airlines have never been a problem, they just want to see if you have a confirmed ticket.
2) There's no limit on how many times you can do this in any period of time. Immigration will not give you a hard time if your documents are in order.
