China Yunnan Trip

Hi there,

I will be booking an 8 day trip to Lhasa and on the way back towards Shanghai, I'm thinking of stopping over in Yunnan.

My plan is to fly from Lhasa to Shangri-la since I will already be acclimatised to the high altitude. I'm thinking of spending 2 days in Shangri-la including one day where I'll do a day trip to Lijiang. Then I'll fly off to Kunming from Shangri-la and intend to spend about 2 days there.

Can someone please advise if this would be sufficient time at each of the locations in Yunnan?

Thank you.

Regards,
MC

Generally, your plan is good and doable to visit the main attractions However, there are so many to see in Yunnan. If possible, also spare a day in Dali.
