About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24h visa Beijing

I am Vietnamese. If I fly from France to Vietnam and transit 17h in Beijing airport, could I get the 24h direct transit and visit Beijing?
As I read on your website, it's ok. However my friend told me that she has just transit in China and she can't get the 24h direct transit, but I don't know exactly which airport that she transited, maybe Guangzhou. Does only Guangzhou airport's stop issue 24h direct transit?
Thank you so much!

Yes, you can get the 14 hour direct transit in Beijing if you travel like that.
I also heard someone said that the case is little bit different in Guangzhou.

Leaving the airport in Guangzhou seems only to be possible if you hold passport from one of the countries eligible for 72-hr free transit or general visa exemption and your layover is more than eight hours.

I had no issue in Guangzhou last year but better check for sure. I don't have a passport that qualified for the 24/72 hour free transit.

That's last year. The rules are much tighter this year to prevent illegal immigration.
