Layover in Guangzhou

Hi, I have a layover in Guangzhou for 10 hours arriving 530am and leaving 330pm. I wants to explore the city but Is there a tour for half day? also can i ask if im eligible for the 24 hours visa (i have a Philippine Passport)? Thanks

I would suggest you take the public transport to visit the city on your own as the cost for private trip is quite high, especially for single traveler. The public transport in Guangzhou is very convenient. You may take subway line 3 to downtown to visit some main tourist spots like Yuexiu Park or Shamian Island and then go to Shangxia Jiu Lu Pedestrian Street or Beijing Road to taste the local snacks. For your information, the transfer for both ways between the airport and downtown takes around 3 hours in total.

As for the 24-hour direct transit, you can enjoy it as long as you have the onward air ticket to a third country.
