transit in shaghai by vietnamese passport

i am holder of Vietnamese passpost ,,but i have permanant resident card of canada,,my flight is from canada to shanghai,-_Vietnam,,,do i need ask the visa when i entry china air port,,,my transit time at china is 6 hours,,i need some advice,please,,thank you so much
