About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Already in China on visa, can I get a transit visa?

Hi. I’m currently studying in China and I have a F, but no more entries. I’m going back to Denmark soon, but I want to visit one more country before I leave. Is it possible to get the transit G? So my trip will be CN -> Fillippines -> CN -> DK. As I wrote, my first stay in China is on entry permit. So I’m just wondering whether my stay between fillippines and Denmark in China could be on a transit G?

There's no way for you to apply for a G type within China but you may quality for visa-free transit depending on the airport.

My flight from Philippines to Pudong Airport and then to Denmark.
But do it affect that I have already been in china on a F?
Just wondering because it might seem like I’m travelling from China to Filipipines and then back to China to go to Denmark.

Philippines-Pudong Airport-Denmark will qualify for the free transit policy. When you enter Shanghai from the Philippines, you should tell the consular officers at the immigration inspection counter that you want to use the free transit this time. In this case, you can save the F type then.
