Hello, I want to apply for a work visa, I already have a work contract from my employer in Shenzhen.

Hello, I want to apply for a work visa, I already have a work contract from my employer in Shenzhen. I have only a diploma from my home country Ghana, is it true I have to get a bachelor's before I would be granted the work visa? I stay in Russia and have a student visa.
