Visiting Xi'an in mid-December

Is the AQI as bad as everyone says?
Would you recommend to NOT visit during this time?

Are there any destinations within the city that would look ugly or inaccessible during this time?

Well, the air is not so good in some days. But there are also some good days in the month. So it is still find to visit. Besides, all the attractions in the city are available and it is not crowded.
