my group has 2 childrens (age 5&4 years old)two adults.

Question

We will travel in HK for 4 days with 4 persons  [2 childrens (age 5&4 years old) and two adults]. Which type of MTR card is the most suitable for us.  If I buy Airport Express Travel Pass, this card can use for bus or other transportation other than MTR ?

Your kids can enjoy 50% discounts on HK transportation, but the travel pass has no children pass. So it is suggested to buy Ordinary Octopus Card for both of them. For u two adults, the travel pass is quite good. As long as topping it up, it can be used on other public transportation including MTR, buses and ferries; in one word, then it is considered a regular Octopus Card.
