About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Guangzhou layover

We are 3 people travelling from paris to Sydney having a layover in guangzhou airport for 12 Hours. We want to take a daytrip in the city. We are qualified for 24 hours TWOV?

It's hard to tell. Back in November someone reported that layovers of more than 8 hours should be sufficient for TWOV, however others claimed that layovers must be 24 hours to qualify. You have to call immigration to find out.
