i would like to visit china for 3 days would i need a visa?

would like to visit china only for 72 hours but i dont know if i need a visa or i can get the free 72 hr free transit?

Ashley, if you will travel like Country A - Shanghai (3 days) - Country B then you don't need to apply for a visa for Shanghai.
