About:Taiwan Travel

How many persons allowed in a taxi in Taipei? How many luggage allowed in the trunk?

We need advise on taxi transportation in Taiwan..We're from Canada lay over in Taiwan for 21hours..We are a family of 5, travelling with 3 kids 10yo 8yo, 8months old..4 big luggages..we are staying in a hotel for a night..help us how we can get transport from airport to the hotel..thank you so much..

Oh, a cab is allowed to take four passengers, and the trunk can hold two large baggages. For your case, two taxis are needed.

Since you don't mention the hotel name, I can just tell you that both metro and bus are avaialble to downtown Taipei. However, you are traveling with kids and have so many luggages, taxi is a good option. At last, why not store the luggages at airport?

Thank you so much for the information appreciated it very much..storing luggages in the airport is a very good option,how do we go about it? We are staying in Daan district..how much do you think taxi will cost us..and also is car seat required in taiwan for travelling babies?..
