Beijing 144 Hour visa free visit

Hello - do you have any information on this Visa Free visit to Beijing - (we are Australian and British passport holders) It was said that it will come about at the end of 2017 ?
Has this happened yet ?
and do you have any information it - where we can travel in the six days etc ?
