About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Traveling to 3rd country with 2 layovers in China

Can we qualify for 72 hour free transit if we are flying from Myanmar to Kunming with a 16 hour layover in Kunming, then a 21 hour layover in Shanghai, before our return flight to U.S.?

No. Two stops limits you to 24 hours direct transit in China.
