About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visit in Guangdong province

But the immigration policy of Guangdong says that visitors who arrive in the Guangzhou can travel within the province, Guangdong, and Shenzhen is within Guangdong. I don’t see any problem.

Hi, as I know, when you wanna use the 72h twov, just 1 stop within China is allowed. So you cannot go to Shenzhen if you want enjoy the 72h twov in Guangzhou.

You have free movement within Guangdong province, including Shenzhen. You have to depart and arrive via Guangzhou airport, though, and exit to HK via land will cause you to be blacklisted.
