do i need to go back to my native country before i can apply for a visa?

I have received my jw202 to study in China, and have my  jw202 now,am currently outside my native country,But where I am currently I hold a permanent residence,Thanks for your assistance

Hi, you can try to apply for the student X type from the country where you currently stay and live. If it can be done, there is no need to go back to the home country for that.
