Hi there, My X2 type will finish at the end of December but I already have the JW202 form form my next semester. I have a question, Which country can I apply for X type? I heard that some people usually go to Hongkong , Malaysia at the embassy of china and apply for visa via there. Meanwhile I also heard that you should be the residence of that country when you want to apply for entry permit. So can you help with about this situation?

Hi, you can apply the student X type in HK as long as you have valid visa for HK. Maybe no residence permit is needed. You can have a try!
