About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do i qualify for 72h free transit?

I have booked a flight Kiev - Beijing. On next day i have a flight Beijing -(3h Change planes in Shenzhen (SZX))- Hanoi , after my Vietnam trip i take a flight from Ho Chi Minh -(non stop)- Beijing, and on next day my flight Beijing - Kiev. Does my flight to Hanoi with stop for changing planes in Shenzhen not a problem for getting 72hours free transit?

You can't have 72 hours (or even 24 hours) free transit in Shenzhen. You need a visa to transit there.

After spending more time in timatic, I think I understand it more clearly. So I can ask for 24h free transit if I arriving to Beijing and departing on the next day to the third country within China territory, since 24h starts from 00:01 on the next day of my arrival. On my way back I have direct flight from Ho Chi Minh to Beijing so I can ask for 72h free transit.

You are still mistaken. The 24 hour period is measured from your first scheduled arrival into China, until your last scheduled departure from China, and not from 00:01 on the next day. And the important Timatic text relevant to your itinerary is as follows:
- Transit without visa (TWOV) is not possible at Fuzhou (FOC), Mudanjiang (MDG), Shenzhen (SZX) and Yanji (YNJ).
So you clearly need a visa for your first transit in China, and only your Vietnam-Beijing-USA return would qualify for 24 hours or 72 hours transit without an entry permit.

Looks like I have mistake in my previous reply, 24h transit possible with multiply stops within China territory but with exceptions to airports where you can have stopover.
TWOV (Transit Without Visa):
- Holders of confirmed onward air, cruise or train tickets for
a max. transit time of 24 hours. Transit
incl. multiple stops within China (People's Rep.), with a
total transit time of max. 24 hours, is permitted. They must
travel to a third country.

- TWOV is not possible at Fuzhou
(FOC), Huangshan (TXN), Mudanjiang (MDG), Shenzhen (SZX)
and Yanji (YNJ).
