About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is the Shenzhen 144 hour transit visa active?

Has the 144 hour free transit process started in Shenzhen already - it is indicated that is now available? Can a visa be applied on arrival in Shenzhen?

Hi, there is no 144 hour free transit in Shenzhen. But it's possible for you to get the VOA in there. You can have a try!

Hi Dawn,

Thanks for your quick response - the way I read all of the information I thought indicated that the 144 hour transit was available. Do you know any information on obtaining VOA in Shenzhen Airport?

I have family arriving in 2 weeks and I am wondering if I just need to tell them to go get a visa instead of taking the risk.

You can't get VOA at Shenzhen airport. They need visas in advance.
