About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Beijing 72 Hour free transit issue

Is there any updates on the 72hrs starting time for Beijing. Arrive at 01:50am on the 17th and would like to stay to 7:00pm on the 20th. This is longer then 72hours (89hrs), but if it is counted from 00:00 of the next day like other cities then it would still be permitted.

Hi, Beijing measures the 72 hours from scheduled arrival time to scheduled departure time. So you should apply for a visa for that before the trip.
