About:China Transit Visa

Passport Validity for Transit Only

I have a 4 hour transit at Guangzhou in December (flying China Southern from London to Australia) and do not plan to leave the airport.

At the time of transit I will only have 4 months validity on my passport, as I do not need to apply for a visa will this be an issue for transiting? the only information I can find refers to a 6 month validity for applications.

TIA

Hi, you are able to use 24 hr direct transit in Guangzhou if you travel like that, and your current passport will be fine. Don't worry!
