Hello. I am travelling through SZX to Sydney on a Italian passport.

I have a 3 hour layover in the airport. Is it possible to leave the airport on a 24 hour transit visa?

Well, as I know, the 24-hour free transit is not available in SZ. So you need apply for a VOA or a visa in advance if you want to go out of the airport.

Sorry to tell you the VOA can’t be got at the airport, as I know, the airport port is not inside the airport. So you need to apply for a transit G visa for the trip in advance. Enjoy your time!
