About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 Hours visa and 72 hours Shanghai

Can I do London-Shanghai-Tokyo with the 144 hours free transit and again on the way back Tōkyō-Shanghai-London but with the 72 hours free transit ? Is that allowed?

You can have 144 hours visa-free transit in both directions (Shanghai doesn't have 72 hours).
